Director of Religious Education – North
Olmsted, Ohio The Olmsted Unitarian Universalist Congregation is seeking a dynamic Director of Religious Education to continue our excellent program. We are seeking a one-third time (approximately 13.5 hrs. per week) DRE for a ten month position mid August through mid June annually. We currently offer a creative lifespan religious education program, with particular focus on nursery through high school, including multigenerational worship services, social action projects, and OWL for both teens and children. We are a historic congregation in the City of North Olmsted with a continuous church presence since 1834. Goal of the DRE position: Provide vision and guidance to our lifespan
religious education program; and develop and administer religious education program
for children and youth which includes 20 children and youth. Qualifications Include: 1. Training and experience in Unitarian Universalist religious education 2. B.A. degree in education or related field (preferred) 3. Possess professional and caring interpersonal skills 4. Excellent detail-oriented administrative, organizational, and communication skills 5. Ability to engage and connect with children and youth 6.
